The existing development at County Hall

County Hall, Oxford to be marketed on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council

Oxfordshire County Council are presenting “No.1 Oxford” – a chance to renovate or redevelop the County Hall site

County Hall is being promoted for sale, as a prime freehold location which is likely to attract interest due to its central location between Westgate Shopping Centre and Oxford Castle.

It offers a unique opportunity to revitalise a historic 1 acre site which encompasses County Hall and Old County Hall, comprising 91,000 sq ft of accommodation. Old County Hall, dates from 1841 and is Grade II* listed. The site has played a key role in Oxford’s history and provides an opportunity to shape its future and to support the transformation of Oxford West End.

There will be a two-year leaseback to Oxfordshire County Council until Spring 2027 while services relocate into modern, net-zero accommodation at Speedwell House.

Savills are appointed to market the sale. Further property details by Savills
